Need help with coosing a PSU

Celsiuss

I've been planning ym computer build for a long time now, but the main problem I have is the PSU, what PSU should I get? I wold be happy if someone could explain the 80+ brinze/silve/gold thingy.

Here is my build with a PSU i think would fit http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tZrtbv

that's fine. anything 550W or better would be good.

check that MB to make sure it can take the CPU, it is a refresh core.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

That PSU is just fine, maybe just go for the Modular one for better cable management & non-restrictive airflow. I only purchase Corsair PSUs myself, anyways.

The 80+ Bronze/Silver/Gold/etc rating is the Efficiency rating. It's how efficient the unit will be, resulting how quiet/often the fan spins, and of course how much money you pay on your energy bill.

You definitely want an 80+ rated PSU, always. Keep that in mind.
