Name for build :AMD GARBAGE  v 8350

Looks like a pretty nice build, quite upsetting to see a 8350 along with a 970, but whatever.

I can't give you any advice really since you already ordered everything.

Good luck with your build!

p.s: AMD isn't terrible, i own it myself, i just feel that there are just much better performing options for slightly more.

Current Desktop Build | 2200G | RX 580 4GB | 8GB RAM | CTRL | Logitech G Pro Wireless

Laptop | 2018 MBA 256/16GB | MX Master

How do you feel about the CPU Cooler? This was one of the most debated parts about my build as I know AMD Processors tend to produce a lot of heat.

snipppp

Looks okay, a bit overkill on the psu but that's fine.

At the price of the AMD FX-8350 you were better off just going intel but it's still a nice CPU.

Can't really say much since you have already purchased stuff, but looks nice overall.

Heat is usually more than intel but most of the time it is over exaggerated.

The cooler is perfectly fine, will run nice and cool.

Im Going to be using this PC For more towards Multi-threaded programs such as, Cinema 4D, 3DS Max, Adobe After Effects ect. which is why I ultimately decided to purchase the FX-8350.

That's fair enough, at least you researched your stuff first :P

Should be a nice system when it's up and running.

  • 2 weeks later...

once you get it all together and name it when your OS prompts you to, you should call it Aguza

why? because why not?

well.... i just googled the name i made up. it's a soccer player... FUUUUUUUUU

no more original names in the world.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.
