Want to combine it with a FX 7500 or a A10 5750M

You can't really build your own laptops... Well you can, but it's way too much work... So you can't pair it up with what you want....

Get and i5 (non U) CPU and 860m

It plays prettymuch everything at 1080p fine... Modded Skyrim might be difficult depending on the kind of mods your using.

Maxwell 860Ms are soldered only, so if you have an APU laptop with a MXM slot, you'd need to hunt for another singular GPU. You'd also need to make sure that your BIOS will accept the GPU and POST, which is not something anyone can guarantee.

If you want a decently cheap laptop with those kinds of specs, the Clevo P650SA machine would be fine, with an i7, 8GB of RAM and the GTX 965M. It should be fairly cheap.

If that is too expensive, the W230SS, W350SSQ or W370SS should be next to look at. If it is still too expensive, then finally the Lenovo Y50 should be looked at. Its screen is terrible and it throttles without hitting power or thermal limits, but it is definitely the cheapest you will find with an 860M and an i7 in it.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

Ah :(, i thought in a way laptops would be more flexable then.

Best go for a A10 + R7 265M or something similar? :) I really want a AMD Quad core here :) dont need it to be epicly powerful since i do have spooky anyway.

Would be cool to have a 17 inch screen, and a 1080P Resolution :) would be awesome for doing the art stuff and also would be just great to have out and about.

Nobody wants flexible laptops anymore. Everybody wants the thinnest thing. Thin = integrated + badly cooled.

Then people complain about being unable to upgrade laptops.

Anyway, you have yet to list a budget, and mobile APUs are only as good as ULV intel chips. So you don't need to hunt for "AMD quads" if you get a cheap ULV machine.

Yeah i never really was into the wafer thin laptops :<, I dont see the point in sacrificing Cooling and In a way stuctural integrity just for making a fashion statement, who gives a crap about it's thinness when the CPU is running at 92C, Dont want to have to wear fashionable gloves just to handle the damn thing you know xD. even if i love my pink pair.

I'd really like something with really good cooling? even if that's a big ask for a laptop, also i'd like 2 and a half hours or more battery life :'D. but i guess that's a huge ask.

Well i guess i have a set budget of the 400-650 range :), but again i usually do it used, so A10 5750M's and FX 7500's i can get :), 3 of my friends have A6's and A8's and it does the job amazing for them :), so maybe i can go down to an A8 too, but i'd love just a little graphical horsepower per say if i want to play BL2 with friends if im at someone elses place.

That's not a huge ask at all.

But it is for this budget. Are you fine with getting a secondhand machine off ebay or something?
