Samsung 840 EVO 120GB + Crucial MX100 256GB

I have kind of a noob question, but i'm not sure about this.

I have Samsung 840 EVO 120GB as my boot drive and i want to buy a second SSD fo storage etc. Is it ok to buy Crucial MX100 256GB?

I heard that eg. Sandforce and Marvell can't run together in the same system. So is there any problem running Samsung MEX and Marvell controllers together?

Mix and match drives however you wish. Just do not try to put them in a RAID together.......
