Can you solve this riddle?

SuperPug

Alright so i use a DWA-127 wireless usb adapter to get internet on my desktop. When the antenna is connected to my new PC it gets around 10mbps download but when its connected to my old pc right next to it, it gets around 30mbps (Antenna stays in exact same place)

I have no clue whats causing this. Signal strength is full bars on both PCs.

Its cant be the usb ports... they work fine

Its obvioulsy not the antenna either... since im getting normal speeds on the old pc

It cant be a software issue... cause i reinstalled windows and all the drivers

What is happening im loosing my mind... any ideas whats causing this???

I would say interference . Even if it's right next to the other computer , a few centimetres can make a difference in interference . Have you tried using a USB extender to get it as far away from the computer as possible ? I'm speaking from experience

What do you mean put it in he same spot ?

What I meant is try using a USB cable extension and put the wireless adapter the furthest away from the computer

Yes thats what i mean too... I put the antenna up on my desk (pc on the floor). Tested with both PCs with the antenna in the same spot and had different speeds :P
