I may or may not be getting 2 780 ti kingpins and my 980 will go bye bye :P 

But I have a corsair HX850i And I was wondering if that would be enough to power for the 2 kingpins?

If you already have a 980, why get 2 780s? Unless you're getting them for free and have another system to put them in, well, I see no point. The 980 can be SLI'd in the future and is plenty powerful enough now...

@smoothBunz it depends on the efficiency rating on your power supply. Each 780ti Kingpin can draw up to 450 watts of power Each so I would recommend you get a solid 1000 watt power supply, EVGA does a good one and its quite cheap too ;)  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438010

 

Or you could get another 980. They have less power draw and are newer and faster than the 780ti Kingpin ( Unless you're planning to OC the kingpin of course )

850W should be just fine.

 

That being said, you could just get another GTX 980...

850W is fine. Planning on doing the same myself within a few months.

850 will do it. will just be running the power supply fan when using both cards
