Xbox one headset

Go to solution Solved by Satlen,

If you get the microsoft adapter for headsets you can plug it straight into the controller.

hi

i've recently sold my gaming pc as I'm at uni and needed less distracting (we should all understand this lol), and so got a less distracting xbox one. i have my headset from gaming pc and I would like to know if there is anyway for it to connect to my xbox in terms of chatting in a party AND listening to the game at the same time.

Headset:

i guess that adapter splits into mic and sound?

if so you'll need a 3mm to 2.5 mm for the mic and just connect into the controller, as for the sound you could use your tv/monitor headphone to get audio.

There exists some audio cards from I think Creative that has a switch to select between pc or xbox/ps mode. This is just going off the top of my head though as I remembered seeing it once somewhere and was quite impressed by it.

I think it was this, not too sure about xbox1 tho... http://uk.creative.com/p/archived-products/sound-blaster-recon3d
