Chrome not responding after opening?

handymanshandle

Without any details, I recommend you:

If you can do something before stop responding, take a look at chrome://conflicts and chrome://plugins, try to find anything wrong.

If you can't, try to clean your Chrome's cache in "%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default" and try opening Chrome again.

There is a thread in Google Forums about Unity Web player: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/OxjXeNYExKw

  • 3 weeks later...

Almost a month later it appears Chrome seems to be doing a similar routine, however Chrome won't open at all and before these problems arose I did get an error message saying that Chrome was corrupt or something. (I can't use the uninstall tool in Windows to get rid of Chrome because it says that there is an active session of Chrome but I made sure that Chrome wasn't running so I'm going to have to go and find the folder itself and I'm pretty sure it might resolve any and all issues to reinstall the browser.) (Edit) It also seems to not be allowing me to uninstall Chrome via Deleting the folder it's in entierly. Also there seems to be no crash reports.
