Ubiquiti UniFi controller on Raspberry Pi

Hi, I purchased a Ubiquiti UniFi UAP access point a few days ago to replace the WiFi from our crappy ISP provided router. The AP is brilliant and the controller software is great too. I currently have it installed on my MacBook Air (V. 3.2.5). I have seen posts about people installing it on a Raspberry Pi and decided to search up how to install it on my Pi but the tutorials are written for people that have a good understanding of Linux. They say things like "Compile the software package manually" and I don't have a clue what that means! Does anyone know where a simple guide can be located, or would anyone be interested in writing a guide?

Thanks,

Brandon

Install Arch Linux the same way as Raspbian and pacman -Sy unifi to install the package.

Hi, I have installed the package and dependancies. How do I start the Unifi program now then? Also, is there a firewall in this version of Linux which would prevent me from accessing the web admin page on another computer? Thanks so much for your assistance.
