Smash Bros 3DS Online

I think Smash Bros online on the 3DS is fun, but at the same time I think it's a fail. Nintendo said something how if just one person you're fighting has crappy internet, then you will lag as well. Which makes the "for fun" bit awful to play in. 1 on 1 isn't as bad but every now and then you get that one guy that has awful internet and you lose the match just because of someone else's internet speed. I wish Nintendo had actual servers for the game. I was thinking of getting a Wii U for competitive play on the upcoming Smash Bros. but now I am reconsidering because of the lag. Do you think Nintendo will step up and make dedicated servers for Smash Bros or do you think they will leave it be like the current state....

The problem is that with the old servers from gamefly they got shut down. I think they are worried about something like that happening

the problem isnt just the servers i don't seem to ever encounter lag maybe 1 in 10-15 matches, my issue is that most people sit there and spam 1 single button and don't really "play the game" by doing this
