NAS HDD

Hello

 

I want to Build a small nas for storage of photos and some files. I saw these nas hard drive and i was wondering would these be any good and worth the money or if i should just get a regular hard drive or a ssd's instead.

nope theyve failed me along with wd reds i would reccomend hitachi deskstar's as they have lasted me forevever

I like WD Reds.  I have 3 that have run great for a few years now.  Lost 2 Seagate drives before I decided to use WD exclusively.

Those are decent drives, they all fail just because one person had one failure does not mean they're bad.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

i ave had 3 seagates out of 4 die on me in the last 2 years and the hitachis have lasted me forever and the reds if they are put close together knock each-other out eventually

Damn that's a brand name if I ever saw one! Buying them all up just so when people ask what type of drive I can answer "Major Brand dude!". :D
