NAS HDD

Hello

 

I want to Build a small nas for storage of photos and some files. I say these nas hard drive and i was wondering would these be any good and worth the money or if i should just get a regular hard drive of a ssd.

nope theyve failed me along with wd reds i would reccomend hitachi deskstar's as they have lasted me forevever

Those are decent drives, they all fail just because one person had one failure does not mean they're bad.

i ave had 3 seagates out of 4 die on me in the last 2 years and the hitachis have lasted me forever and the reds if they are put close together knock each-other out eventually

I have a box full of dead Seagate, Western Digital, Samsung, Toshiba, Hitachi drives so I guess I can't buy any HHD's now. :blink:

Damn that's a brand name if I ever saw one! Buying them all up just so when people ask what type of drive I can answer "Major Brand dude!". :D
