MOBO Q-code 00

Hey guys I recently tried to swap out my graphic cards for my two new 970's and after installing them I went to boot up PC but it was stuck in post boot (Q-CODE 00)  and cpu fan led is on and I have tried every trouble shooting idea I can think of and no luck. things i have done:

1) removed all connections except cpu, mobo

2) just cpu powered
3) removed all ram
4) tried every bios upgrade for my board on both bio channels
5) cleared cmos a thousand times /removed battery for 12 hours  and unplugged no dice!
6) everything is connected or seated properly
7) inspected CPU and socket both are great!

 

I cant get a signal to monitor as for mobo is stuck in post boot

 

I  don't know how this could happen by switching GPUs. Which I have done a couple times.

 

specs:
i7 4930k 

mobo rampage iv black edition

psu 1200w evga p2

Code 00 - CPU cannot be detected.

 

Make sure the 8 pin CPU cable is plugged in properly. If it's still not working, try reseating the CPU.

 

Make sure nothing is shorting out your system aswell.

^ as stated I have done all that

system is water cooled, so I just have the led on the waterblock connected to the cpu, and I dont have a fan for my cpu
