It was the first time i was there, and alot bigger than i imagined. Other than CPU's everything else seemed a bit over priced. They had 10 970' in stock and the salesman had to ask his boss if he could sell any yet lol. (and it was priced higher than Newegg)

What do you expect from a brick and mortar store? Of course it's more pricy

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

Their CPU's are lower than most other stores, saved around $80 getting mine there

That's CPUs though, they use those to get people into the stores. I saved 150 bucks on mine, microcenter is pretty well known by now

They actually do price match with Newegg and Amazon. Normally if I'm impatient or need something right the way, I'd just price match in store

yep!!  Microcenter is truly the best.  I always try to give them as much business as possible.  They also pricematch(no questions asked) with Amazon, Newegg, Staples, TigerDirect.

I live about 1.5 hours away from it, and Newegg gets 99% of my stuff to me the next day :)

I wish there was a microcenter near where I live, not for that CPU, I would never use it to it's fullest, but there are very few tech stores near me.
