Do you play Fps games in competitive leagues?

If not you don't need one, but yes it does make a difference but you went need it unless you play competitive

It does make a difference, if you need it that's all up to you. If it's not for 'competetive gaming', it can also be for the smoother gaming experience, if of course your GPU can actually deliver more than 60 fps

If you play FPS games AND you can support 1080p 144hz at acceptable settings, then do it. 144hz is much smoother all around -- I've actually found myself using my 144hz monitor more than my IPS monitor when on the desktop as well partly do to how much smoother everything is when moving aroudn the screen.
