another 980 post :)

hey guys :P

will a reference 980 break the aesthetics of a red and black build?

i was planning on using a rog vii hero with vengeance pro red ram and the red cable kit from corsair

just not sure i really like the reference cooler but if so was thinking of a strix 980 or a msi gaming when and if its out

what do you guys think of the 980 for 1440p?

 thanks :)

I would wait for ASUS to release one of their aftermarket cards, since it would look kinda off.

Yes it will. Wait for the ASUS STRIX card or MSI Gaming card, as they will both fit your build perfectly

thanks guys just wondering thats all

i love the nvidia reference cooler :P and there are no green motherboards or good green cases (other than the razor h440) :P

You could paint the shroud black and mod the LED to be red.

I'm going to do something similair with my new build but I'll mod the LED to be white.

I actually want a reference GTX 980 because the Titan Black look with the triangle vents is str8 baller son. Although I'll probably just get the SC w/ ACX 2.0.. MOAR cooling x performance x epeen x quietness.
