Neat idea, however I have no interest in it. I see the phone being very chunky and a dirt magnet.

Plus the fact that bezels will no longer be kept in check is a huge turn off for me. The front camera options are lame. Unless a manufacturer decides to incorporate them both into one module, which I doubt.

I'm surprised Google hasn't bought this out yet, I'd buy one of those phones over anything else on the market...

 

 

The only issue I see is them changing the blocks. You know, a new better block, smaller, more powerful, etc. But I like the idea none the less.

they would hae to have the screen and the interconnects as dummy devices with no bus since then that would need to be updated and one of the inserts would be the bus and would set the speed of the interconnects
