3 1440p screens on this graphicscard?

AndersT2

Can I drive 3 1440p screens with this card: Gigabyte Geforce 650 (Can't seem to be able to put a link in for the product page for some odd reason.)

It has 2x Duallink DVI, 1x HDMI and 1xVGA, no Displayport.

I remember something about one would need a DP port to get 3 screens, since those other outputs uses the same output chip or something, and they only supports 2 screens.

Sorry for the few off Capital letters in my posts, it does it on its own when I Write in English, since my OS is in another Language. It's annoying.

Even if you aren't gaming, Nvidia isn't the best for supporting multiple high res monitors on their lower end cards, so it may be wiser to go for an AMD card if you haven't already brought the card.

CPU: 5930K @ 4.5GHz | GPU: Zotac GTX 980Ti AMP! Extreme edition @ 1503MHz/7400MHz | RAM: 16GB Corsair Dom Plat @ 2667MHz CAS 13 | Motherboard: Asus X99 Sabertooth | Boot Drive: 400GB Intel 750 Series NVMe SSD | PSU: Corsair HX1000i | Monitor: Dell U2713HM 1440p monitor

I've read it's not possible with the 650, go AMD with Eyefinity for that. Or buy another 650 to put in SLI.

You want play with ?

Since when 650 can be SLI?

My current rig for entertainment/gaming: i5 4570 3,2GHz; MSI B85M-E45; ZOTAC GTX760 AMP!; 8GB (2x4GB) by Kingston; Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm; Corsair 200R, Corsair VS650; Dell U2312HM, Samsung DVD R/W optical drive; CM Devastator; Corsair MM400 gaming pad

Have had the card for a year or so.

Since I then most likely would have to upgrade the graphicscard to, I'll wait and see if the LG U95 or what their curved 21:9 display costs next summer.

Will AMD be better for 2x 2560x1440 and 1x 3440x1440 monitor setup? (Maybe a 21:9 2160 screen in stead of the last one).

I think the SLI option starts with 650 Ti cards
