Whats a viable mid tower for watercooling?

InspectorNinja

Not really sure how much I can ask outside that general question. I want to get both a new case and one that works for future upgrading to watercooling once I feel confident enough to over clock. My room tends to get hot so I want to make sure stuff stays nice and cool

450D, Fractal R4, pretty much most mid towers are capable of supporting multiple rads these days.

From corsairs site. This is for the 450D btw

  • Radiator and fan compatibility compatibility:
    • Top: 3 x 120mm or 2 x 140mm (360mm radiator)
    • Front: 2 x 140mm or 2 x 120mm (2 x 140mm included) (280mm radiator)
    • Bottom: 2 x 120mm (240mm radiator)
    • Rear: 1 x 120mm (120mm included) (120mm radiator)

I personally am getting a H440 from NZXT for my little WC project, you can fit a slim 240mm rad on top and a thicker 360mm in the front.

Enthoo Pro

450D

R4

H440

Also you do realize WaterCooling will make your room hotter right? It doesn't just magically destroy the heat produced by your components it moves them to the rest of your room quicker so that the heat doesn't build up...

I know, I didnt mean I was expecting it to make my room cooler, more as my room is heating up and I do notice my mobo's sensors reading my room rather than my chip so Im just being a bit worried and paranoid. I can deal with the heat, not sure if my pc can

Arc Midi R2 by Fractal design, R4 takes a bit of extra modding to make WCing work
