Why does it have to be from any of those places? Icemodz are by far the best

Bitfenix Alchemy are decent and should be sold at NCIX, Newegg and most other places, just a suggest I like to give, if you want to DIY your own LED strips by getting those 5m strips on Ebay or Amazon they are very cost effective.

Why would you need a 1-2m LED strip? Icemodz are about 1/3 the cost of Bitfenix alchemy strips so they are far from expensive

They're pretty affordable but as cost effectiveness goes theses are the ones I was talking about to DIY a solution and thy are cuttable to custom lengths and run off 12V:

Well, look at the video with the H440, is that bright enough? If so, then 30cm should be enough.

im probably not going to get the 30cm im gonna go for around 60cm and pair that up with a 3 pin fan controller or the controller of the enthoo luxe and control the brightness via the controller

I found the NZXT Hue 3 RGB led controller with a 2m led strip for $40.....would this be better or my other idea?

Im not really a huge fan of the NZXT LEDs as they give a very dotted light (bright and dark spots). Which apparently aren't there on something like the Bitfenix Alchemy LEDs.

then go with the NZXT LED strips.

Apparently they're hard to aim and they supposedly burn it somewhat quickly. Although you hear mixed reviews about all of that since there are people who have been using them for a while with no issues. But, they're quite cheap anyway...so if you prefer the dotted light, then go for them.

It has to do with the large spacing of the individual LED's the higher the density the less that occurs, they saved money by using strips that have a lower density, you'd want something like 60LED/meter to prevent that from happening.

I understand why it happens, I just don't like that happens.

Dedicated strips are better than any controller. I find RGB lighting pointless, stupid and tacky but thats my opinion
