Yeah pretty much the title my current motherboard can handle fx cpus so that may be a large factor kthanksbye.

It can handle an 8 core.

You won't be able to overclock it beyond like 4.2~4.5, but it can handle it.

Single core, yes. Multi-core, no.

 

In short, get an FX 8320.

you could go for a 6300 and oc a little.

it depends on what you need the g3258 for.

Just note that anything more than 2 threads will pretty much tank on the pentium
