Hi

I have some questions about wifi range extender.

Do they actually work?

Is it worth it to get one?

I prefer powerline kits as extenders rely on existing signal 

 

where as powerline extension creates create a new hotspot

They do work quite well. I had a terrible WIFI signal in my house until I bought one. I set mine up in the middle of the house and I can now get Wifi in the house where ever I am...

How much do they cost?

 

Depends, a simple Ethernet one can cost as little as £15/$20 a wireless one maybe double or triple that, 

 

similar to a repeater/extender
