I know people did it, but could there be any problems? Warranty void?

I don't see how they would be able to prove you used plastidip, so warranty void is nigh impossible. Still, plastidip isn't exactly helpful when put on heatsinks as it would make them inefficient and I wouldn't paint the pcb with it if I were you.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

Plasti dip isn't conductive. It's pretty much safe to plasti dip anything.

The PCB is what I'm talking about.

Now my motherboard has no heatsink on the thing next to the CPU. So would it be bad to paint that?

I don't think it would damage anything, but still I'm not sure it's healthy for the circuits.

There is a layer of coating on the circuits to prevent any kind of shrt cut and damage. The pins are the exposer parts. And anyway. Have you ever seen plastic win againts metal ?

No of course not ^^ that's not the problem, I'm more concerned about small plastic parts getting in small holes and temperatures rising. But again, I don't thin it would do any direct damage.

i don't think it would be a very big problem. If you want to protect some parts with chips on them . Use tape to block the plastic. Then cut it
