anything lower than 105c

80C is quite safe. under prime95 if you are under 90C you'll be fine.

technically just keep it under the TJmax of 105. I still say 90

Whatever the max temp stated by Intel is, I think it was 110 when they start throttling. Realistically I don't like going over 85 in normal use and 90 in benchmarks.

Desktop -  i5 4670k, GTX 770, Maximums VI Hero, 2X Kingston Hyper X 3k in raid zero.

Laptop - Lenovo X230 Intel 535 480GB, 16GB Gskill memory, Classic Keyboard Mod, Triple USB 3.0 Express Card.
