My monitor has a flickering/black screen problem?

hay everybody so i bought a second hand samsung sync master sa350 1920x1080 monitor for gaming.

now i know second hand isnt the best way to go but it was really cheap and i didnt have the money at the time.

so i turn it on and it flickers on for a mile second so anything like no signal or my computer log in or what ever comes up then its goes black.

does anyone know what is happening ? it could be power not the hdmi cable or computer so iv got no idea what it is ?

You got it second hand, but you weren't able to see if it was working 100% before you bought it?

It could be a bad hdmi cable. Try switching every cable and see if the problem is fixed. If not, there's something wrong inside the monitor
