[Build Assistance] Story of the hopeless PC Builder.

[bUILD ASSISTANCE]

Hi Everyone,
I am Campbell, an Australian that is trying to make his first PC, it was going well until I came to the problem of what Graphics Card and Case to get to suit my build. I am not sure what colour scheme I want to go for so if any of you want to suggest one with lights and such feel free to! Only two parts of my build that are left to complete are these two, my budget is around $1,600 AUD and I am around $1,000 AUD now. If you want, I must stress this as much as possible, please criticise my build to make it my best first one. The Graphics Card I have been looking at and have decided to get is a Radeon R9 290 but I am not sure which type I should get so please help me out there and the cases I have been left to choose from are the Enthoo Pro or the NZXT H440, I also am not sure if I should just go with the fans in the case or buy new ones all together (please suggest some if you want). Please do not go way over my budget, try to get a colour scheme going, criticise me and possibly rate my build so far :) Thank you for taking your time to read this and hopefully you can help me out here!

In regards to the GPU, for the 290, I strongly recommend the Tri-X cooler.

With the case, it is pretty personal, as I don't like the aesthetics of either of those cases, but I love the style of the Air 540. So, it's up to you on that one.

A pc case is a very personal thing, and it all comes down to personal taste. But I'll tell you this, I own the H440 and it's a dream. Easy to build in, and you can get great cable management with little work.

Large or Small Form Factor?

I it were large form factor and he actually got a r9 290 tri-x, maybe a corsair c70 gunmetal black?

Not too sure about small form factor cases with an ATX board and a large GPU. Mabye Fractal R4? Idk if that's small form factor though

Sorry for the spam, I'm being a nuisance to the website and not being particularly humble. I will be posting all questions I have from now on here. Once again I apologise if I annoyed or harassed anyone here or on other threads but this is my last thread. Thank you.

R9 290  Tri-x from sapphire.

The problem is, that is expensive for an Australian and I don't think I have the budget for that and a decent case :(

He means what size case do you want? The smallest an ATX board will fit in or sky's the limit?

Is medium an answer? I basically want a case which can fit in my parts nicely, looks good, has good airflow and isn't something massive like the 900D. Sorry if this doesn't clear it up.

Mid tower..

Cases are a pretty personal decision, find a case you like the look of, then check out reviews on youtube, i recommend Hardware Canuks for case reviews.

Personally, i really like the Enthoo Pro.

9/10

IMHO

Would Not Recommend AsRock Boards

Because They Have a Bad Reputation online

P.s

Change your RAM kit to anotherone that has a CAS of 7-8 If you Go For Gaming

Just Because Of The Fast Timings

But Man! Prices in Australia are off the roof!

I recommend Changing your RAM to This

http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-memory-cmz8gx3m2a1600c8

Because You'd like a CAS of 8 when Gaming
