What iGPU is in the G3258

So basically the title. I can't seem to figure out what iGPU it is. On the Intel ark site it just says Intel HD Graphics. Not like 4600 or anything. How many cores does it have? I am so confused by this thing...

I think it's a lower clocked and reduced core version of the 4600. I don't know the specifics as i don't think they released them.

Probably something like the HD 4400.

I think it's Haswell GT2 with 20 shaders.

Going to go with an answer of HD 4400 then. It can be OC'd right?

Other posters were mistaken

Intel HD Graphics = GT1 so 10 units compared to 20 for the 4400.

After a quick check this is correct.

Oh man, I guess it won't be suitable for a game-streaming box after all, at least by itself :P

I don't think even Iris Pro 5200 is quite suitable :P

You can use QuickSync on the Pentium though.

It might be, I used an Ivy-Bridge Pentium (g2030) with regular HD graphics for my htpc for like 10 months before I just upgraded. 1080p video playback is fine and I could even play Dota2 and TF2 with the settings turned down. It might stream just fine, especially with quicksync enabled.

My Mac worked well enough with it's Iris 5100 :)

If the iGPU can be overclocked it should be ok then I guess.
