downloading complete debian

my server is not yet connected to the internet and wont be for some time. 

 

I want to install debian 7.4.0 on to it but I guess I just cant contemplate how to download the complete file. I attempted jigdo but I came up with "failed". why is there not a simple "click that button get the file you want"? debian couldnt be that big. Maybe one of you intelligent people help me or link me to a tutorial or better instructions. I just get a headache trying to make sense of all this non-sense. 

 

2cent rant - I live in the year 2014, Ive build 2 rigs without optical drives. please up date for this accomodation.

Those should be the stable Debian distros

do I need all the dvds? what are all the dvds?

 

 

also, I dont have fast internet so I dont want to waist several hours downloading the wrong thing. avg: 360kBps down.
