Thanks so much, guys.

Hello, everybody. This is my first thread at LTT. Herro.

So, would I get considerably more airflow if I permanently took off the removable front panel on the 350D? Here's some pictures to get you guys going...

the plastic cover on the 350D is raised so its already getting good airflow so dont worry

Yes, but there's enough space between the fans and the cover, so it has good airflow anyways. Plus that panel is the sexiest part of the case. No need to remove it.

only need to remove if using high static pressure fans to cool a radiator.

the stand offs provided are fine for moderate air-flow for air cooling the case.

but when really leaned on for water cooling a radiator in the front inlet area, it to

has some flow issues like its bigger brother the 750D (fixed by the 760T front).

using a 2x 120 fan/rad in the front inlet i found a 8° drop in CPU temperatures using

2- 1300rpm/2.64mm/h2o just by removing the front panel. 2x 140 fan/rad in the

front inlet

i found a 9° drop in CPU temperatures using 2- 1200rpm/1.295mm/h2o by removing

the front panel.

Nope, no need to. There is already adequate space between the aluminum cover and the fans. Don't worry about it.
