Hey, first time posting here, but I've been following Linus Tech Tips for a while and I'm finally pulling the trigger on a PC that I'll be building myself.

My budget was about 600€ (I'm from Italy)

r9 270 sapphire 173,15€, I missed some good deals on these unfortunately but oh well, these seem to fly as soon as I turn my eyes off them. Bitcoins...
OCZ PSU 500W 39,92€, they are probably clearing their stock and it's considerably cheaper than other 450W PSUs
CM Elite 120 advanced 42,47€
i54440 158,30€, actually cheaper than the 4430, for some reason
MSI B85M-P33 56,33€, the only part I'm not entirely sure about
Kingston RAM 8GB 1600 74,24€
Kingston 120GB SSD 76,85€, slightly cheaper than the samsung (82,68€), is it worth the extra 6€?

Also I have a 500GB HDD Caviar from my old iMac

What do you guys think? Any red flag?

Edit: I forgot to mention, I'll be doing gaming and light productivity. I realize I could go for an i3 (an I hear Haswell is pretty good) but honestly the i5 wasn't much more expensive so I went with that.

I would go with a AMD processor. Like the 6300k or a 8320/8350 if it fits in the budget. You will get better performance. Also, Welcome

What's the system being used for?

I forgot to mention, but I edited the OP since. Mainly gaming.

I noticed you have a matx mobo in a case that only supports itx.

Ah, see that's why I need help lol >.> What do you suggest? would this one work for me? http://www.amazon.it/Fractal-Design-Core-Series-Micro/dp/B004ZH18G4/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1389269550&sr=1-1&keywords=case+micro+atx

Also, since I'm doing gaming, isn't the i5 supposedly quite a bit better since games generally care for single core performance? (at least for now)

you won't feel much of a difference between a 8320/50 and an i5... however since the i5 you chose isn't an unlocked processor I'd go for an AMD equivalent so that you can overclock down the line and have extra cores in case they come in handy in the future.

That works perfectly fine. The i5 is better but going with something like an overclocked 6300 will give you more cores and give you better performance in games that can leverage that while being a bit cheaper which may allow for a better graphics card like a 760.

It depends on what types of games you're playing. Some mmos can be reliant of fast single cores and will be crippled on a 6300 and others will excel.
