how to make my ps4 shut up?

so i have my ps4 on right now, and if it is on for more the 10 minutes it sounds like a jet engine..

 

the video below is what it sounds like IDLE

 

how can i make it quieter? i cant open it cuz i dont wanna void my warranty

Gotta clean it my man, it's the only way to really get those fans to calm down. Sometimes voiding the warranty is needed with consoles.

void the warranty to open it and clean it, or clean it the best you can from the outside. It being loud is probs down to dust, consoles seem to accumulate a staggering amount over the years (so will PCs but mine never stay in one piece long enough to do so), so you'd need to clean them out somehow. There's various gimmicky mounts and such that have fans to give it better airflow, or you could make sure it has adequate room to suck in cold air and expel hot, but those are both worthless if it's already clogged with dust. 

 

EDIT: Or according to @Bananasplit_00 it won't void your warranty (did they pass that right to repair thing?).

so the only way is to open it and clean it? i guess i will get canned air for christmas or just see if the dollar store has some. okay thanks, i will have to look up a tutorial on how to open it though i dont wanna fk up my only way of gaming

ive tried putting it on its side and on its bottom but nothing works.. i guess while cleanig it i could fix the power button (it will press but it stays down)

 

 

 

ps.. its a ps4 slim

uhh.. was your volume not on that mf is loud.. its gotten to the ponit where it is messing up my recordings for youtube... even when sitting 3 or 4 feet away

Don't be nervous about taking it apart, find a nice guide and go slowly through the process and you'll be just fine.
