Graphics Card Upgrade Advice

Go to solution Solved by dbinoj,

Opps. Realised that this is not the section to ask graphics card queries. Created a new thread in Graphics Cards section. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/100663-graphics-card-upgrade-advice/

I'm marking this as solved so that people do not waste their time trying to help here and instead can help others' queries :) .

I have a Lenovo Machine (7569A19 Similar to this) with Intel G41 Express Chipset.

I need to connect 1 HDMI projector, 1 HDMI TV and 1 monitor.

I will be using triple monitor setup.

Since the projector and TV have only HDMI, I need a video card (which must be available in my market :( ) with 2 HDMIs.

I have selected the Sapphire AMD/ATI FirePro V4800 card.

I have searched and could not find any reliable compatibility guides (Or I'm missing something).

Is this card compatible with my computer?

No it's not. By the looks of it, your PC is a low profile format and this full-size card probably won't fit in it. You'd best look for a card that has an LP bracket option in it.

Edit: Found this. Not sure if it has an LP bracket but you can Macgyver it in if you're desperate. Just make sure you have enough space for two slots. Also you will need either an adaptor/adaptor cable to go from the second DVI to HDMI. Hope it helps!

you do not need 2x HDMI ports on a graphics card, just get a graphics card with 2x DVI ports and an HDMI port then get a DVI to HDMI adapter / cable.

Sorry I made a mistake in the original post and linked a wrong product. The lenovo machine I have is from this product line: http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/desktops/thinkcentre/m-series-towers/m83/ (older version though). It is not a low profile model.

If I can convert DVI to HDMI, what GPU will suite best for me? I need 3 monitors, No fancy gaming. Just HD video playback, presentations, demonstrations, etc.
