Refurbished vs New PSU?

Buy the TXm. The VS is crap and being a refurbished unit only makes it worse.

Hi there,

So I made a post about a new build several hours ago but I found a refurbished PSU and was wondering if I should just stick to the original PSU i picked out (Corsair - TXM Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular) or go with the refurbished one i found (550W Corsair VS550, Factory Refurbished, 80PLUS Fully Wired).

The refurbished one is half the cost and would allow me to spend a little bit more on a case and get the Coolermaster N300.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Better got for new one. VS series are not reliable for highend / gaming systems plus it's refurbished.
