Things to take note of when upgrading?

Hi guys, I recently got a 8700k, ASUS Z370-A Prime, and a H100i v2. This is my first time swapping out my motherboard and cooler in my system, so are there any tips you guys have for me to make my swap easier? Thanks for the help in advance!
