4K build

JayBee805

What’s up guys I already own a pc , still new to the game though.

Current set up:

1080ti

i7 8700k

16gb ram .

Iwant to play in 4k 60fps , what cpu and or gpu would I need to achieve that ? I already get 60 FPS in some games but not all , idc for more frames not really into the competitive multiplayer games . More into single story games . So 4k 60 FPS is great for me. Which card and or cpu will I need or other ? Thank you

What are you getting right now in 4k games?

You basically have the best mainstream hardware there is for gaming

50-60 but not on all games . 4K ultra or some in high settings , more demanding ones I get 40-50

going to have to agree 4k gaming is still a generation or two from being mainstream you have the best hardware other than a 2080ti and they are hit and miss on whether they can run games any better than the 1080ti.

would you really be ok spending $1400 on a GPU for a few FPS?

Money isn’t an issue . But if it’s really only for a couple FPS I rather just wait for the next gen , n keep playing on my 1080ti
