Internet DCing every 10 seconds. New pc build problem?

Sashgnarg

So I just built my pc yesterday, and ever since Ive been having this problem where every 10 seconds or so my internet would dc. I pinged my internet using this command- ping 104.160.131.3 -t and the attached picture is what came up. Not sure what the issue might be. I checked my router drivers and its updated, I also restarted my computer and modem.

Are you connected via 2.5 or 5ghz channel? You might want to consider 5ghz for more stable connection but this does mean you can't really be far away from router/wifi.

Try scanning your local network to see if other wifi channel are on same 1/6/11 and pick the less congested. How many devices in your home network? Are they other users on while you perform this test? If so it kinda expected, the only way to solve this is to get better router. I would look at semi/second hand enterprise gear if going to invest in network gear.
