low on memory error help

Go to solution Solved by ohJey,

409MB what is it ?

It's space on your hard drive that is used when memory gets low.  I tried disabling it when I got my Samsung SSD but it kept on giving errors.  I was hammering my system just like you (I host a minecraft server, play minecraft, stream music, and stream some video at the same time).  Try setting it to ~4gigs, it should help you out

so when i play battlefield 4 i get this error which says LOW ON MEMORY PLEASE CLOSE THESE PROGRAMS  i don't understand i check my memory and it is only using 6gb or 8gb is there a way to disable this error. it is or so new error because a little wile a go i was able to use all 8gb as seen in the image

Low on memory, time to add some more RAM mate and also I'm not sure if you can disable the error message but why would you want to, the problem will still be there.

in this image i am rendering a video in 4k but it normally happens when in BF4 no other games

To be honest I'm not really sure, maybe at 6GB it is close to a system reserve or whatever but not sure, I really need to read into things like this a little more but right now I'm tired and can't think straight (thank you Mr Daniels).

Once you get more RAM you should be fine

I moved mine off SSD and onto HDD. Now it won't take unneeded space on SSD.
