Heyo boys.

I've been out of the tech scene for a while now and I'm in the market for a new mechanical keyboard (or building my own, not in a rush).
All I want is MX blues or their clones. Rn I'm using a blackwidow Chroma that's 3ish years old and it's performing admirably given how much abuse it's taken.
full or TKL, don't really care. Just want some macro/media keys. Just need one, as I use the macros for my media bindings.
Not particularly picky about manufacturer, so I'm willing to give any recommendations a fair shot if they look promising.

That's really about it. I own a razer product right now so obviously I'm not too concerned with budget haha.
Like I said, building is an option, not really in a rush to find a replacement, but some of the keys (f and d namely) on my kb are starting to go (thing's taken many spills and more than it's fair share of impacts from things being dropped on it or w.e). Spacebar is starting to stick very badly too (no recent spills so it's not something fixed by washing unfortunately). IDK if I'd be able to find a kb shell/pcb that would have what I'm looking for with media or macro keys (maybe they have now, it's been a hot minute).

Thanks for any advice you can give!

I'm kinda in the market for an upgrade myself, and I just watched this vid from Hardware Canucks:

They cover three pretty good looking keyboards. I think of the three, the G pro from Logitech looks good for me, but there's a pricey one from MassDrop that features hot-swappable switches. That might be something cool if you were looking at customizing/ building something. I'm not a pro at this stuff, so forgive me if this selection is super obvious to you.

When I said build, what I was familiar with was actually buying the pcb n all that garbage and soldering it together yourself etc haha.
Unfortunately none of these have any form of media keys or macro keys I could assign to media buttons :^(

If you're interested in building your own, check out the /r/mechanicalkeyboards and their discord channel. Also there's always geekhack if you wanna know where to buy keycaps and pcb.

It's kinda rare to find big pcb, with macros and etc. But you can always build a separate macro-only keyboard :)

Yeah I considered building a separate little macro thing, most keyboards have media or macro keys of some sort nowadays haha
