HeyGuys

I want to upgrade my cpu since I started streaming and trying to get into 3d modeling, atm I use an i5-4690k. Im not a professional or something in 3d modeling  im a total newbie.

I can afford max. 500€ atm, my idea was to either get a i7 4790k (270€) or  a 2600 with a new motherboard and ram and a new cpu cooler since my cooler doesnt support am4, the last thing I need help with is, what ssd should I get? I only have 1 TB hdd in my pc.

About games I played most of the time csgo, ow, rb6 and pubg.

Thank you for helping me :D

Which graphics card do you have? If you're okay with lower image quality, you could leverage NVENC reducing the load on your CPU a bit. You'll be able to get by that way by getting a used 4790 or 4790K (don't buy it new, please, it's been out of production since 2015).

SSD wise, Samsung 860 Evo. Undoubtably the best SATA SSD.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

I have a 980 Ti and I alrdy stream with NVENC and my games dont feel smooth and when I stream it while using my cpu its a diashow

Could go with a 2600X as well to run right up to your budget line. There are good performing SSDs from other companies for a little cheaper.
