Advanced format HDD?

I have a 2tb Toshiba hard drive i snatched out of a Vivant Space Monkey, but it's not even showing up on my computer.

It's a DT01ABA200V hard drive

I suspect it has something to do with the little "Advanced format" which might be a file system, or something more deeply rooted like the firmware.

Is it even possible to format this to NTFS or Fat32?

thanks

-Jon

Make a bootable flash drive and boot into Ubuntu or something and install gparted, then use that to look at the drive.

Desktop: i9 11900k, 32GB DDR4, 4060 Ti 8GB 🙂
