today theres a deal for the p20 lite for 229 instead of 250-290€ ish - should i wait or is there a good chance there will be a better offer whilst prime week/black friday/cyber monday? Need to decide now

See if there are any cheap last gen (snapdragon 835) in your area. Over here a Nokia 8 costs only 184 Euros.
