Rig for a friend

So my friend needs a new PC for streaming console games, pc games, and for making YouTube videos. I suggested this build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2xRDJ

I went with Intel because people stereotype "AMD sucks" and what not. A different friend is advising him to go with an i7 and downgrade the processor to a 760. Which build should he go with? the i7/760 or i5/770?

4670k + 770 in this case, he doesn't 3D model or heavy edit ( Youtube only ) so the main focus will be gaming and streaming. Get enough ram, the 4670k and the 770 and he's fine.

If you wanna go with AMD you could always go with r9 280x but that's your choice. This will be enaugh for streaming videos but if he edits alot of his youtube videos you might wanna get a i7 for the little extra performance.

I say the i7 and the gtx 760 because he can sli the 760 later on and faster rendering

If he's gonna play games and record them, he's gonna need more power than a 760. I would say go for an i7 4770k and a GTX 770. Gives you a great balance between gaming performance and editing performance

has to be under $1100. thats why i went with the i5/770
