Help: WD M.2 Does not detect on gigabyte sniper b6 motherboard

IS WD GREEN 120GB M.2 2280 SSD(Model WDS120GB0B) Support on Gigabyte Sniper B6 Motherboard?

In motherboard specification gigabyte says about m2-

1 x M.2 Socket 3 connector

Support for M.2 PCIe SSDs only.

And I didn’t find any product specification in product package and or WD’s websites. In some thread it says M.2 SSD with B+M key also support in M key connector. It works fine. But In my case It does not work.

Here,

B+M keys WD Green 120GB M2 2280 SSD

Gigabyte G1.Sniper B6 (rev. 1.0) Motherboard.

It does not detect in windows, bios and also device manager. What happen ? My motherboard bios are updated.

Thanks in advanced.

that motherboard only supports PCIe SSDs. the WD Green is a SATA SSD.

Is there any way left to use this m2 on this board.

use a PCIe to M.2 adapter i guess. not too sure if this will work with sata tough. i think it should?
