Changing laptop thermal paste

The current one smells like its burning and I want to replace it, would "Céramique™ 2" be ok?

I have it lying around and don't want to spend money on a new tube as it needs to be done ASAP and its expensive here.

Remember bang for buck over performance, i think that thermal paste is decent, not the best but not close to being the worst. I say use it.

Yeah, just use that. Make sure you apply the correct amount and get rid of the old paste completely. (Wipe with alcohol if ya can)

If you have it laying around you can use it as don't see why you would not use it if it is there as long as it isn't dried out.

I would use the one that you have right now because the temperature difference not that great imo and BeQuiet thermal paste should be pretty decent imo.
