So my mother has maybe agreed to buy me part of this computer for christmas, I was wondering if this was a good starting point, I was then planing to get some more fans later on, along with a non stock cpu cooler and maybe another rx580 so i could run 2 in crossfire, is this reasonable?

Don't get hte MSI Armor card, they have a bad rep for having bad coolers.

What monitor do you have? Resolution? Refresh rate?

 

I have a RX580 driving a solid 1080p 144hz setup. Its a lovely card!

 

I got mine a year ago in sales for £200, its been brilliant!
