I plan on building a new PC this year and I think I have narrowed it down to these parts. My monitor is 1440p 144hz and supports gsync. Would I benefit waiting for Black Friday/Cyber Monday? Or would I be better off buying some parts now?

It's not a scam at all. If everyone bought it used, how do you think they'd support it? That's one of the stupidest things I've seen said as of late.

Yes I know It's not a literal scam, but the fact that windows charges over $100 for their operating system in the state It's in is completely unjustified. I still don't use a license key because there's no value in one.

If you're going to say something like "reasonable cost" you have to associate a price with it. Reasonable cost to me, for example, is up to $200.

It's not a sense of entitlement, they literally let users use their software for free, minus extra features most people don't even need. No reason to pay for something I don't want.

Also, it sure does "work perfectly fine," but that doesn't immediately justifyt the cost. Why not just get an apple machine? "It just works."
