Any tips for making a passively cooled computer.

That's quite a lot of copper. Do you plan on making those blocks thinner?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

would it affect thermal performance if i made it less copper???

Well it's not as efficient for the heat to be going through a huge load of copper unless it's also got good surface area. Plus huge slags of copper that size would be pretty pricey.

i could make the aluminum plate lower so there would be less copper but there would less surface area on the plate

That surface area loss is pretty minimal. It's just a flat box shape that you're reducing. If you wanted to use that much copper, you'd do well to add a lot of surface area to that huge copper block.
