will a 600w SFX be enough for this?

theFainster

Hey!

I was asked to build a computer for a friend and he said he wanted a very small form factor case, chose it, and turns out it requires an SFX power supply. He told me he does a lot of video editing so I decided to go with an M-ITX, X-370, AM4 motherboard with a Ryzen 7 1700X paired with a Vega 56. the highest SFX power supply from a company i trust (corsair) is at 600w. is that enough to power with a 6TB HDD and 500GB SSD?

Yeah, it'll do fine.

What case are you using though? Because CPU coolers are the real deal when it comes to sff.

Yes. The system should draw about 400W, so it's plenty fine for overclocking.

HDDs, how big they are, only required 10 watts max.

If you buy components not older than 3 years the rule of thumb would be 1 gpu = 400 watt, 2 gpu = 600 watt

yeah, it's not compatible for AIO and I can't fit a 212 Evo sadly... any suggestions for efficient cooling when it will be used for a lot of video editing? it's a small media center case that's supposed to look like a subwoofer... max height is 78mm.
