PLEASE HELP

I have an 8700k @5 ghz with a gtx 1060 6gb and my streams and recording cannot get to 1080p 60fp. I have 4500 bitrate and everything else is regular. Please help I want to get into gaming montages and streaming. Thanks for helping!

Dont even bother with 1080p60 at that low bitrate, it will look absolutely horrible. Its not even suited for 720p60.

Do you use x264 or NVENC?

You should have no problems at all streaming using x264 with 8700k, what settings are you using exactly? And what software you use for streaming?

Well I am using OBS with 4500 bitrate x264 with my encoder preset at slower. Plesase help @WereCat

Well, there is your issue.

The slower the preset, the more CPU demanding it is but the quality goes higher a bit.

 

Using "slower" preset is just way too demanding for 1080p60, just stick to "very fast" or "faster" presets.

And for the love of god, dont stream 1080p60 at 4500, thats not even good enough for 1080p30 or 720p60.
