Happens to me too, I think it's when someone posts in a topic that you're following and it gets moved.

I'll give you an example; I follow hot deals. Sometimes, a post that someone made there gets moved to the right place, say laptops and pre-builts. I'll still get the notification that something was posted even though it got moved.
